Cristina Discovery
The perfect adventure to get to know the Upsala Glacier. It all begins with a magnificent 4 × 4 vehicle that will ascend the Feruglio mountain range, and then start a hike on the glacial erosion terrain. You will reach the Upsala Glacier Viewpoint where there is a fabulous view, not only of the already named glacier, but also of Lake Guillermo and the Southern Patagonian Continental Ice Field.

Glaciar Sur Pioneros
If we talk about spectacular Patagonian views, we must mention the view offered by the South Pioneros Glacier excursion. From the Nibepo Aike ranch, you travel in a semi-rigid to the Pioneers Pier to navigate Lake Roca and the Brazo Rico, finally landing at Playa de las Monedas. From that point begins a beautiful walk through the forest where you will find a spectacular viewpoint towards the South Glacier.
Then another navigation runs in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier where a toast is made and it arrives in Puerto Bajo las Sombras. The excursion lasts a full day, about 9 hours and is ideal for the whole family. It also includes a barbecue at the Nibepo Aike ranch for lunch.
Glaciar Sur Aventura
Another spectacular place is the one that can be enjoyed with the Glaciar Sur Aventura excursion. You travel through the El Calafate valley until you reach the border of Chile. As in the South Pioneros excursion, you enter the Estancia Nibepo Aike to embark on a boat and navigate the South Arm of Lake Argentino, until you reach the southern tip. Then a walk begins through unexplored sites of Lake Frias, along with a navigation in Zodiacs to cross it and reach the amphitheater of the glaciers.
In exchange for the Su Pioneros Glacier, this excursion depends a little more on physical strength, since only the walk comprises a total of 6 hours and 14 kilometers of crossing. The activity includes a lunch consisting of a sandwich, cereal bar, gingerbread, candy, water and fruit.
